Contemporary maple bowl

I do not remember where I picked up the wood for this bowl. It certainly looked very unpromising on the outside, and the beautiful figure only became visible once it was being turned. With wood like that, there’s no need for any embellishment, and the shape is deliberately kept extremely simple, so that nothing can distract the eye.

This will make a stunning bowl just about anywhere in the house. And It’s definitely meant to be used.
